Volunteer Positions Are Full: Join the Waiting List

Our volunteers commit to donating ten (10) hours of their time onsite at the event, and in exchange they get a discounted volunteer rate of $500 for a full Conference Pass (registration required). What you’ll experience:

  • Opportunity to choose from 50+ education sessions and master speakers
  • Hear inspirational keynotes from Van Jones, Kirsti Luke, and Naomi Klein
  • Connect with industry leaders and other volunteers
  • A behind-the-scenes look at the unConference
  • Four exciting Afterparties!
  • Meals: Breakfast (Thurs + Fri), Localicious Lunch (Thurs + Fri), and Big Bang Dinner (Thurs)

The Commitment + Timeline

All volunteers will be involved, to lesser or greater degrees, in: Registration Check-In, Information Desk, Education Session / Workshop Room Monitor; Trade Show Runner / Floater. Upon acceptance, volunteers will have the opportunity to choose their shifts from sign-up schedule

  • Applications Closed in Mid-March: We accepted volunteer applications on a rolling basis until mid-March. We have filled most of our 50+ volunteer opportunties, and are offering a waiting list for applications.
  • April 3, 2017 (Monday): Registration due date for all accepted volunteers
  • Mid-April (date TBD) 2017: Watch brief recorded webinar training/orientation (required viewing)
  • May 17 – 19, 2017: Living Future unConference 2017

*Priority is given to current members of the Emerging Professionals and/or full-time students.

**Volunteers must complete the total commitment of ten (10) hours, otherwise, the volunteer will be charged the remaining full cost of the conference pass.
***Volunteer admission does not include travel, lodging, or additional meals outside of the ones provided on-site; please plan accordingly.
